Scanning


  1. Walk to the nearest PaperCut copier and log in with your ID badge (Setup your ID badge), student ID number, or username and password

  2. Tap Scan

  3. Select a department (scanning is free, but you still need to make a selection)

  4. Choose from the following options:

    • Email

      • Scanned document will be sent to your email account (to send the document to someone else, simply forward the email)

      • Format: PDF (default), JPEG, or TIFF

      • Maximum file size: 25 MB

    • Email - Searchable

      • Scanned document will be sent to your email account (to send the document to someone else, simply forward the email)

      • Your document will undergo text recognition and will be searchable (may add some delay before delivery)

      • Format: PDF

      • Maximum file size: 25 MB

    • Google Drive

      • Scan will be saved in a folder called "Scans for PaperCut MF" in your Google Drive

      • Format: PDF (default), JPEG, or TIFF

      • Maximum file size: 500 MB

    • Google Drive - Searchable

      • Scan will be saved in a folder called "Scans for PaperCut MF" in your Google Drive

      • Your document will undergo text recognition and will be searchable (may add some delay before delivery)

      • Format: PDF

      • Maximum file size: 500 MB
