Voicemail Operations

First-time Setup

If you have never setup your voicemail box, press the Voicemail key on your phone and follow the verbal instructions.

Listening to Messages

To access your mailbox:

1. Dial *11 or press the Voicemail key
2. If prompted, enter your mailbox number (typically your extension)
3. If prompted, enter your mailbox password
4. Press 1 to listen to the first message

Mailbox Options

To record your greetings and set your mailbox pin, enter your mailbox and press 0 for Mailbox Options.

The available options are:

• 1 – Record your unavailable message
  • This greeting is played when you do not answer a call
• 2 – Record your busy message
  • This greeting is played when you are on the phone or reject a call
• 3 – Record your name
  • This name may be played to callers depending on your mailbox configuration
• 4 – Record your temporary greeting
  • This greeting can be enabled temporarily without erasing your normal greeting
  • Use this menu to record, delete, activate, or deactivate your temporary greeting
• 5 – Change your password
  • Set a password to prevent unauthorized access to your messages
• * – Return to the main menu

Options While Listening to Messages

While listening to a message, you have the following options:

• 1 – Listen to new messages
• 2 – Change folders
• 3 – Advanced options
• 4 – Play the previous message
• 5 – Repeat the current message
• 6 – Play the next message
• 7 – Delete or undelete the current message
• 8 – Forward the message to another mailbox
• 9 – Save the message
• 0 – Mailbox options
